Which to pick

What Liite gives you

  • Images in the same paste

Paste a screenshot with your text, even without an account: up to 5 images, or 50 on Pro and up. PNG, JPEG, WebP, GIF or AVIF.

  • Formatting kept

Paste from a doc or a web page and headings, lists, tables and code blocks come along as Markdown. Published at liite.co/n/code.

  • Private by default

Pastes are never listed publicly, and pastes made without an account are never indexed. Add burn after reading on any plan, or a password on Pro and up.

  • Edit or delete without an account

You get a secret edit link once. With a free account your pastes are listed in one place, and you can turn one into a page at liite.co/yourname.

When Pastebin may suit you better

  • You share code and want syntax highlighting. Pastebin lists 266 languages; Liite shows code as plain monospaced text.
  • You create pastes from scripts or apps. Pastebin has a developer API; Liite has none for pastes.
  • You paste big files. Pastebin takes 512 KB, or 10 MB on PRO; a Liite paste holds 200 KB of text.
  • You want your paste public and easy to find. Pastebin pastes are public by default, listed in its archive and indexed.
  • You'd rather use a site with a long track record. Pastebin's home page says it has run since 2002; Liite is new.

Switching from Pastebin

Questions about Pastebin alternatives

What is the best Pastebin alternative?

It depends on what you paste. For code that needs syntax highlighting or an API, Pastebin still does that well. For notes, screenshots or text copied from a doc, Liite keeps the formatting and images, and pastes are never listed publicly.

Are there Pastebin-like sites that allow images?

Yes. Liite lets you paste images with your text, even without an account: up to 5 images of 1 MB each. With an account it's 10 on Free and 50 on Pro and up. Pastebin's FAQ says only PRO members can post images and clickable links (checked 2 November 2026).

Is a Liite paste private?

It's unlisted: only people with the link can open it, and pastes made without an account are never indexed. For more, use burn after reading, which deletes the paste once it's read, or a password on Pro and up. Pastes aren't end-to-end encrypted, so don't paste passwords or other secrets.

Can I use Liite paste without an account?

Yes. Go to liite.co/new, paste and publish. Pastes made without an account last up to 7 days, links show as plain text, and you get a secret edit link once to change or delete it. A Free account keeps 10 pastes for up to 30 days.

Does Liite have syntax highlighting?

No. Code blocks keep their spacing in a monospaced font, but aren't coloured. If you need highlighting, Pastebin lists 266 languages.
