Roadmap
What we're building, in the order we plan to build it. There are no dates here because we'd rather ship than guess. Things move to the changelog when they're done.
Now
Getting ready to open Liite to everyone. Most of the product is built; these are what stand between it and launch.
- Email that actually arrivesVerify your email address, reset a forgotten password, and sign in with a magic link.
- Paid plans openCheckout for Pro and Business, the 14-day Pro trial and the Lifetime Pro offer, with a customer portal for invoices and cancelling.
- AI switched onThe guided builder, prompt to page and AI edits, on the monthly credits in your plan or your own key.
- Website audits leave testingReal-world quality checks on sites in different industries and languages, and audits running on our production browser.
- Launch housekeepingliite.site on the Public Suffix List, live malware and phishing checks for uploads, and database backups.
Next
After launch: working together, building on Liite from your own tools, and more for pages.
Pages and publishing
- More blocksPayment buttons, booking and social widgets, file downloads, countdowns, search, custom HTML and an AI chat for your page.
- Affiliate programEarn a share of the first year when people you refer subscribe.
Later
- More free tools. Towards a hundred, one at a time.
- More from quick tools. Reviewer photos and video, a page per print shop, and lists you can reuse on a schedule.
- More for the canvas. AI icons and illustrations, saved sections that stay in sync, and tweaks for one screen size only.
What we won't build
Liite stays light on purpose. These are out, so the rest stays fast and the bill stays small.
- An online store. Payment buttons for Polar, Stripe, Gumroad and Buy Me a Coffee are planned instead.
- Video transcoding or streaming. Longer videos belong on YouTube or Vimeo, which you can embed.
- An email marketing suite. Broadcasts stay plain text with monthly caps.
- A build pipeline. Uploads take a folder that already has an index.html.
- A developer platform: no API, webhooks, MCP server, CLI or GitHub deploys.
- Single sign-on (SSO).
