Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated 14 October 2026

The short version

  • No phishing, malware, scams, hate, harassment or content that exploits children.
  • No spam: broadcasts only go to people who signed up on your page.
  • We check uploads and links automatically and read every report. Risky uploads are held until a person clears them.
  • See something wrong? Use the Report link on the page, the report form or email hi@liite.co.

1. What this policy covers

Everything you publish or do with Liite: pages on liite.co, uploaded sites on liite.site and on your own domain, short links, collections, forms and broadcasts, pastes, print drops, lists, reviews, website audits and AI features. It applies to you and to anyone using your account.

2. Content that isn't allowed

  • Child sexual abuse material of any kind. We remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities.
  • Phishing and impersonation: pages that collect passwords, card or bank details under false pretences, or pretend to be another person, brand or organisation.
  • Malware: viruses, exploits, cryptominers, or files and links that install software people didn't ask for.
  • Scams and fraud: fake giveaways, investment or crypto schemes, fake shops, counterfeit goods, or deceptive redirects.
  • Violence and hate: threats, incitement, terrorist content, or attacks on people for who they are.
  • Harassment and private information: bullying, stalking, publishing someone's private details, or intimate images shared without consent.
  • Sexually explicit content. [Business decision: ban adult content outright, or allow it behind a warning?]
  • Illegal goods and services, or anything that breaks the law where you or your visitors are.
  • Other people's work you don't have the rights to. Copyright owners can use our copyright process.

3. Things you can't do with Liite

  • Spam. Only send broadcasts to people who signed up on your page. Don't import bought or scraped lists, and don't put short links in unsolicited messages.
  • Hide where a link goes to trick people, or use cloaking and redirect rules to get around another platform's safety checks.
  • Collect sensitive data (health, ID numbers, passwords, card numbers) through forms without a lawful reason and the visitor's clear understanding.
  • Abuse the infrastructure: use uploaded sites as a file-locker or a CDN for other services, run load tests, mine crypto, or attack Liite or anyone else.
  • Get around limits: open several free accounts to avoid plan limits, or work around rate limits and safety checks.
  • Misuse audits: audit sites only for a real business purpose, never to harass a business or to probe pages that aren't public.
  • Use AI to make anything this policy forbids.

4. How we check

We check uploads and links automatically when you publish: file types and sizes, zip archives, patterns common in phishing pages, Google Safe Browsing for links, and VirusTotal for files on paid plans. A person reviews anything flagged and every report we receive.

An upload that looks risky is held (“under review”) and not shown until it is cleared.

5. What we do when something breaks the rules

Depending on how serious it is, we may:

  • ask you to fix it;
  • remove a file, link or item;
  • suspend a site or tool, which then shows visitors that it is unavailable;
  • close your account, without a refund for serious or repeated breaches.

Where people are at risk (phishing, malware, child safety) we act at once and tell you afterwards. Otherwise we tell you what we found and give you a chance to respond.

6. Reporting abuse

  • Every page and uploaded site has a Report link at the bottom. It opens our report form with the address filled in.
  • You can also email hi@liite.co with the address and what's wrong.
  • For copyright, follow the Copyright (DMCA) Policy.

7. Appeals

If we suspended something of yours and you think we got it wrong, email hi@liite.co from your account's email address with the site address and why. A person will look at it again.

Questions about this policy, or an appeal? Email hi@liite.co.
