Google review QR code generator: what to know
This page starts the google review link generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the google review link generator.
Make your own stand, card, sticker or poster
You don't need to buy a ready-made Google review stand or card. Download the SVG, drop it into any design tool or print shop template, and add one line such as "Enjoyed your visit? Review us on Google". The same file works for a counter stand, a business card, a sticker on the door or an A4 poster.
Keep the code at least 3 cm wide on a card or table stand and bigger on a poster that people scan from a distance. Print it dark on a light background with a clear margin around it, and scan a test print with two phones before you order a batch.
Check the code still works
Google says Place IDs can change. Every few months, and before any reprint, scan the code yourself and make sure your own review box opens. If it doesn't, look up your Place ID again and make a new code.
Displaying it within Google's rules
Put the code where people can scan it in their own time, such as on the receipt or the takeaway bag. Google's policy says businesses shouldn't require or pressure customers to review while they're on the premises, so don't stand over people or ask them to scan before they leave. Don't add "5 stars" or a discount to the sign either.
Questions
Can you make a QR code for a Google review?
Yes. Paste your Place ID above and download the code. Google Business Profile can also make one, but only in a computer browser.
How do I find my Google review QR code in Business Profile?
On a computer, go to your Business Profile and select Read reviews, then Get more reviews. Right-click the QR code and choose Save image as.
Can customers scan a QR code to leave a review?
Yes. The phone camera opens the review box for your business. They need to be signed in to a Google Account to post.
Does the QR code expire?
No. It's a plain link with your Place ID in it, with no redirect in between. It keeps working as long as Google keeps that Place ID, so test it now and then.
