Link in bio
Links to put in your bio
Put the link that matches your main goal first: your newest work, your shop, a booking page or a sign-up form. Then add two to five supporting links, such as your socials and best-known work, and remove anything you haven't updated in months.
Start with your goal
Ask what you most want someone to do after they tap your bio link. That link goes first, and everything else supports it. If you can't pick one, pick the one that earns you money or brings you work.
Ideas by who you are
Most good bio pages have one main link and a handful of others. Here's what tends to go on them.
- Creators: newest video or post, merch, brand deals or a media kit, your other platforms
- Small businesses: order online or book, opening hours and where to find you, a menu or price list, reviews
- Freelancers: portfolio, rates or services, a way to get in touch, availability
- Musicians: the new release, tour dates, streaming links
- Writers: newsletter sign-up, latest piece, where to buy your book
- Job seekers: CV, portfolio or LinkedIn, an email link
Put them in the right order
People tap what they see first. Put the main link at the top, make it a highlight so it stands out, and keep the rest in order of how often you want them tapped.
Retire links when they stop being true. A sale that ended or a sold-out event wastes the space at the top of your page. In Liite you can schedule a link to appear and disappear on set dates, so it's gone when the offer ends.
Check they still work
Links break when a shop moves, a post is deleted or a short link expires. Every few months, tap each link on your page from your phone. A redirect checker shows where a link really goes if you're unsure.
Look at your clicks too. If a link gets no taps for weeks, move it lower or remove it.
A real example
The Creator template, compiled by the same code that builds every Liite page: the newest video as a highlight at the top, then merch and brand deals, with socials above. The name is a sample.

Questions
- How many links should I put in my bio?
- As few as do the job. One main link plus two to five others is plenty for most people. If you need more, group the extras into a folder so the page stays short.
- What should my first link be?
- Whatever matches your main goal right now: your newest work, your shop, a booking page or a sign-up form. Change it when your goal changes.
- Can I add more links than Instagram allows?
- Instagram lets you add up to 5 links to your profile. A link-in-bio page holds more: put the page in your bio and list everything there. A free Liite page holds up to 15 blocks, and folders hold several links each.
- Can I move my links from Linktree?
- Yes. Import a Linktree, Beacons, liinks or own.page profile from Sites → Import, or export your links first with the free Linktree export tool.
