DuitNow QR code with a fixed amount

Upload a screenshot of the DuitNow QR from your bank or e-wallet app and type an amount. You get the same QR code with that amount filled in, so the payer only checks and pays.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.

Add a pay button to your Liite page

Put your DuitNow QR on a free page at liite.co/yourname, next to your prices and an order form, so people can order and pay you directly. Liite never touches the money.

How to use it

  1. Open your bank or e-wallet app, find the screen to receive money by QR, and save or screenshot your DuitNow QR.
  2. Upload the image here. The tool reads it in your browser and shows the bank, the name and the city inside.
  3. Type the amount in ringgit, or leave it empty for a code where the payer keys in the amount.
  4. Download the new QR code, then scan it from another phone and pay yourself a small amount before you print it.

How to get your DuitNow QR code

Your DuitNow QR comes from your own bank or e-wallet. Look for the option to receive money by QR in the app. Inside the code is a recipient id that your bank assigns, so nobody can build a working DuitNow QR from a phone or IC number alone, including us. That is why this tool starts from the code your bank already gave you.

Anyone with a Malaysian bank or e-wallet app that supports DuitNow QR can scan and pay it. PayNet's page for personal users says QR payments are free, money arrives instantly in most cases, and one transfer can be up to RM50,000.

What this tool changes, and what it doesn't

A DuitNow QR follows PayNet's specification, built on the EMVCo standard. It holds the bank's acquirer id, your recipient id, a name, a city and a checksum. PayNet's own person-to-person example is a static code with a fixed amount, so adding one is allowed. The tool adds or removes only the amount field and recomputes the checksum. Your bank, recipient id, name and every other field stay exactly as your bank wrote them.

Some codes can't be changed. One-time (dynamic) codes and codes with a security hash would stop working, so the tool refuses them and says why. It also refuses an image whose checksum doesn't match, which usually means a blurry photo.

Fixed amount or open amount

Keep the open code from your app for everyday use, such as a sticker by the till. Make a fixed-amount copy for a set price: a class fee, a delivery charge or one invoice. The payer's app shows the amount and the recipient name, and they only need to confirm.

Before you print

Scan the new code with a different bank app and send yourself a small amount. Check the name on the payment screen and that the money lands in your account. Print the SVG at least 3 cm wide with a white border, and write your name or shop name next to it.

Questions

How do I get a DuitNow QR code?

From your bank or e-wallet app: look for the option to receive money by QR. Banks issue the code because it holds a recipient id only they can assign.

Can I generate a DuitNow QR code from my phone number?

No. The code needs the recipient id your bank assigns, which isn't your phone or IC number. Start from your bank's QR and add an amount here.

Is DuitNow QR the same as DuitNow Transfer?

Both run on PayNet's DuitNow network. DuitNow Transfer sends money to a mobile number or DuitNow ID; DuitNow QR sends it by scanning a code.

Does the money go through Liite?

No. The code only changes in your browser. Payments go straight from the payer's bank to yours, and we never see the code or the payment.

Why was my code refused?

It may be a one-time code, carry a security hash, or the image was read wrongly. Use the static QR from your app and a sharp screenshot.
