Spotify link shortener
To shorten a Spotify link, copy it with Share → Copy link and delete everything from the question mark onwards; the song still opens. For an address you can say on air or print on a poster, point a short link such as liite.co/x/new-single at it.
Tidy the link Spotify gives you
In the Spotify app, open the song, album, artist or playlist, tap the three dots and choose Share, then Copy link. On desktop, right-click it and choose Share, then Copy Link.
Links copied this way often end in ?si= and a code that tags the share. Delete the question mark and everything after it, and the link still opens the same thing.
One address per release
A short link is worth it when people have to type or remember the address: in a radio interview, on a gig poster or on merch. liite.co/x/new-single is easy to say. An open.spotify.com address with a 22-character ID isn't.
You can change where a short link goes after you've shared it. Point it at the pre-save page before release day and at the track afterwards, and nothing you've printed goes stale. You can also set a start time so the link only works from release day.
Send each listener to their own app
Not everyone uses Spotify. On Pro and up, a short link can send iPhone and Mac visitors to Apple Music and everyone else to Spotify. The first matching rule wins, and anyone who matches no rule goes to the main link.

Spotify codes or a QR code?
Spotify codes are scanned from inside the Spotify app's search camera, so they only help people who already use Spotify. A QR code opens in any phone's camera. Every Liite short link has a QR code you can download in your colours, and scans are counted apart from clicks.

Questions
- How do I get a short Spotify link?
- Copy the link with Share → Copy link, then delete the question mark and everything after it. For something shorter and easier to say, point a Liite short link at it.
- Can I see how many people clicked my Spotify link?
- Spotify's own links don't show you that. A Liite short link counts clicks and QR scans by day, referrer, country and device, without cookies.
- Can one link open Spotify for some fans and Apple Music for others?
- Yes, with rules on Pro and up: send iPhone and Mac visitors to Apple Music, and everyone else to Spotify. Or link to a page that lists every service and let people pick.
