Products and orders

A Products block shows products from a collection on your page, and can end in an order form. Buyers pick quantities and send you an order request; you confirm it and arrange payment with them yourself (cash, bank transfer, a payment link, whatever you use). Liite doesn't take payments and never asks buyers for card details.

Start

• New site → Products makes a shop page from a starter: a catalogue, or one product on its own with a large photo. The starter products are already there to edit or delete.
• Or add a Products block to any page (it works on canvas pages too). The block offers to create a Products collection with the currency you pick.
• Start from a photo of a menu or price list and tick Take orders on this page: the items you checked become the products.
• The Shop, Bakery and Single product templates come with sample products.

Your products

Products live in a collection under Sites → Collections: name, price, a "was" price, photo, description, category, options (sizes, colours, weights) and a Sold out switch. You get drafts, history and CSV import like any collection. Only published products show on the page, and the page updates by itself when you publish one. Products count towards your collection items (50 on Free, 500 on Pro).

The block

• Layout: a grid, a list, or one product, large (for a one-product sales page; add an FAQ and reviews around it).
• Show: all products, one category, or ones you pick.
• Take orders on or off. Off, the block is a plain catalogue.
• The order form asks for a name, a phone number and / or an email (you choose which is required), an address if you want one, delivery or pickup, a note, and up to 8 questions of your own. Questions asking for card numbers, CVVs, PINs, one-time codes or passwords aren't allowed.
• What happens next: a short text for the form and the receipt, such as how to pay and when you deliver.

The form works without JavaScript. With it, buyers also get + and − buttons, a live total and a "Your order" bar.

Orders

Every order is priced on our side from your published products, never from the page, and gets a number per site (#1001, #1002…). The buyer lands on a private receipt page at liite.co/o/… with the items, the total, your "what happens next" text and your contact details, and gets it by email if they gave one.

Orders arrive under Forms → Orders: open one to see the items and the buyer's answers, call them, message them on WhatsApp or email them, keep a private note, and move it through New, Confirmed, Completed or Cancelled, with an optional short email to the buyer. You get an email for each new order (you can turn this off), and you can export orders as CSV.

Free takes 30 orders a month, Pro 1,000 and Business 10,000. Orders are kept as long as form messages: 30 days on Free, 1 year on Pro and 5 years on Business.

Not included: online payment, a cart across pages, stock counts, shipping or tax calculation, discount codes and prices per option.
