Uploaded sites

Put HTML, a zip, a folder, a PDF or any file online at yourname.liite.site, then edit it in the browser.

An uploaded site is your own files, served as-is at yourname.liite.site. Every uploaded site is its own origin, so root-relative paths and single-page apps work.

What you can upload

  • A single HTML file, a zip or a folder with an index.html (one top-level folder is fine).
  • Single-page apps: turn on the SPA option and unknown paths fall back to index.html.
  • A PDF: opens in a viewer with pages, zoom, search and thumbnails. You can hide the download button and get an embed snippet.
  • Any other file: images, Markdown, text, JSON, CSV and video get a clean viewer. Several files without an index.html get a directory listing.

Upload size per site: 3 MB on Free, 25 MB on Pro and 500 MB on Business.

Updating

Upload again to replace the site: the address stays the same and the old version is kept, so you can roll back.

Editing in the browser

  • Code editor (all plans): edit HTML, CSS and JS files, then save as a new version.
  • Visual editor (Pro and up): click text on the page and retype it.
  • AI edit (Pro and up): describe a change to the open file, review the diff, apply. See AI.

Free plan rules

  • Publishing an uploaded site on Free needs a card on file. Starting the Pro trial counts. It isn't charged unless you buy a plan.
  • Free uploaded sites go offline 7 days after you last publish. We email you two days before; republish or upgrade to keep them up. On paid plans they don't expire.

Safety checks

Uploads are checked for oversized or unsafe archives, phishing patterns and dangerous links (and, on paid plans, known malware). Anything that looks risky is held for review and shows “under review” until a person clears it. A clean re-upload clears an automatic hold.

Passwords and domains

Add a password or connect your own domain from the site's settings (Pro and up). See Custom domains.
