A proposal on Liite is a page your client reads, ticks optional extras on and accepts by typing their name. Each one has its own link at liite.co/q/code. It isn't a site, so it doesn't use one of your sites or a name. Start under Proposals, or + New → Proposal.
Start one
- A starter: a website project, a monthly retainer, a photography package, or a simple quote (just a pricing table to accept).
- Draft it with AI: describe the client, the work, the prices and the timing in a few lines. It uses AI credits or your own AI key, and you edit everything before you share it.
- From an audit: on a finished website audit, Turn into a proposal makes one from it: its phases become the pricing (priced from your agency profile), its findings and the work become the scope.
- Your templates: save any proposal as a template and start the next one from it.
Write it
- Sections in Markdown: introduction, scope, timeline, terms, anything you need.
- A pricing table: items with a quantity, unit and price, billed once, every month or every year. One-off and recurring totals are kept apart. Mark extras as optional: your client ticks the ones they want. Add a discount (a percentage, or a fixed amount) and one tax line. Any currency.
- A valid-until date, next steps your client sees once they accept (how to pay a deposit, the kickoff), and on paid plans a password.
- Your business name, logo, colour and contact details come from your agency profile under Audits. Without one, your workspace name is used.
The preview beside the editor is the page your client sees. Changes save as you type.
Send it
Share makes the link live; until then only you can open it. Copy the link, or use Email to client: a short email from your business name with the link and a note of up to 500 characters (links in the note are removed), and replies come to you. Download PDF gives you an A4 copy.
Proposals you can share each month: 3 on Free (with a small "Made with Liite" line), 30 on Pro and 300 on Business. A proposal counts once, the first time it's shared; sending it again or editing it doesn't count.
Your client's side
They read it on any phone or computer, tick the optional items (the total updates as they go, and the ticks still work with JavaScript off: the server adds them up), then either:
- Accept: type their full name and email and tick "I agree". You both get an email with a PDF of the accepted version.
- Decline: with a reason if they like. You get an email.
After the valid-until date the page says it has expired and can't be accepted, and how to ask you for a new one.
What an acceptance records
The typed name and email, the time, a hashed IP address and the browser, the items chosen, the totals and a fingerprint of the exact version accepted. It's a typed-name acceptance record, not a qualified e-signature: there are no drawn signatures or signing certificates. Nothing is paid through Liite; agree on payment with your client directly.
After they answer
An accepted or declined proposal is locked. To change it, Start a revision: your client accepts the new version, and the earlier acceptance stays on record.
Tracking
You get an email the first time your client opens it. The editor shows its status (draft, shared, viewed, accepted, declined, expired), how many times and by how many people it was opened, the average time spent and how far they read. Your own visits don't count, and there are no cookies.
