Custom domains

On Pro and up, each site can use one domain you own, like yourname.com or links.yourname.com. Short links can use their own domain too (see Short links).

Connect a domain

1. Open the site, then Domain & settings → Custom domain.
2. Enter the domain you want people to see. If you enter the apex (yourname.com), www redirects to it, and the other way round.
3. Add the DNS records the dashboard shows at your domain registrar. Copy them exactly.
4. Wait. The dashboard checks every 10 seconds while it's pending and switches to Active once DNS is right. DNS changes can take from minutes to a day or two to spread.

How addresses work on your domain

A page's tabs move to the root: yourname.com/menu instead of liite.co/yourname/menu. Uploaded sites behave exactly as on liite.site. Search engines are pointed at your domain.

Rules

• A domain can be connected to one site (or one short-link setup) at a time.
• Remove a domain any time from the same screen.
• If your plan ends, custom domains are disconnected; your site stays online at its liite address.
