Event pages
Create an event page
An event page puts the date, the time, the place and the RSVP form behind one link you can share anywhere. Start from Liite's Event template, change the details and publish it at liite.co/yourname.
What an event page needs
Guests open the link from a message or a poster, usually on a phone, and want the same few answers. Put them at the top, in the order people ask.
- What it is, in one line under the name
- When: the date and the start and end time, in the event's own time zone
- Where: the venue name and address, with links that open Google Maps or Apple Maps
- How to say you're coming: the RSVP form, right under the details
- The questions everyone asks, such as parking, dress code, kids and dogs, in an FAQ
- Who's hosting, and how to reach you
Event page or event landing page?
They're the same thing with a different reader in mind. An event page serves the people already invited. An event landing page has to convince people who haven't decided yet, so it leads with why to come and ends with the sign-up.
One Liite page can do both. Keep the date, place and RSVP at the top for guests, and put the programme, the speakers or the photos from last year below for everyone else.
How to create an event page
Start from the Event template, the example on this page, or add the event to a page you already have.
- Open + New → Site → Event, give the event a name, a date and a place, and choose a new page or an existing one.
- Or add an Event + RSVP block to any page, including a canvas page.
- Set the time zone, the venue and an online link if there is one. You can send the online link only in the confirmation email.
- Add an FAQ block for the practical questions, and links for the schedule and how to get there.
- Publish, then share liite.co/yourname in the invite, or print a QR code that opens it.
Design that works on a phone
Most guests read an event page on a small screen, so a good event page design is mostly about order: name, date, place, RSVP, then everything else. Pick a theme, keep the text short and let the blocks stack.
If you want a poster look instead, design the page on a canvas. You place text, images and the event block freely, and you can download the canvas as a PNG or PDF to print or post as a flyer.
A real example
The Event template as it comes, compiled by the same code that builds every Liite page: an Event + RSVP block for a summer fair with plus-ones allowed, links for the schedule and getting there, and an FAQ.

Questions
- How do I create an event page?
- Open + New → Site → Event in Liite, enter the name, date and place, and publish. You get a page at liite.co/yourname with the details, calendar links and an RSVP form. Or add an Event + RSVP block to a page you already have.
- Is it free to make an event page?
- Yes. A page with an event block is on the Free plan, with RSVPs for up to 50 guests per event, plus-ones included. Pro and Business take more guests and let you message them.
- Can I sell tickets on my event page?
- No. Liite doesn't sell tickets or take payments. If guests pay at the door, say so in the event text. For paid tickets, link to a ticketing service from your page.
- Do search engines understand my event page?
- The event block adds the event's name, date and place to the page as structured data (schema.org Event), which search engines read. It doesn't guarantee how or whether they show it.
- Can I show how many people are coming?
- Yes. You can turn on a line that shows how many are going, and spots left if you set a capacity. There's no public guest list.
