3D printed QR code
Make the code here, download the SVG and import it into your CAD or design app to extrude, engrave or cut. This preset uses the highest error correction and no logo, because printed and engraved edges are never perfect.

At a glance
- Error correction
- Level H restores about 30% of the code, the most a QR code allows.

- Short links
- A 25-character link makes a Version 4 code (33 × 33 modules) at level H; a 99-character link needs Version 10 (57 × 57). Worked out by this tool's encoder.

- Modules
- Each version adds 4 modules per side, so a shorter link means fewer, bigger squares at the same size.

A QR code you can keep changing
The code above always opens the same thing. Every Liite page comes with its own QR code that counts scans, and you can change the page behind it any time without reprinting.
3D printed QR code: what to know
This page starts the QR code generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the QR code generator.
From SVG to a printed code
We don't export STL. Import the SVG into your CAD or design app, extrude the dark squares by a millimetre or so, and print the code on a contrasting base. Changing filament colour at that height gives the cleanest result.
Small codes, jewellery and engraving
Small objects need few modules. Use the shortest link you can, so the code stays at a low version and each square stays big enough for the nozzle or laser. Matte, contrasting surfaces scan best; shiny metal can reflect light into the camera.
Questions
Can I 3D print a QR code?
Yes. Make the code here, download the SVG, then extrude it in a CAD app and print it in two colours.
How can I create a 3D QR code?
Raise the dark modules above a flat base. Keep the contrast high and test the print with your phone.
