Digital business card maker

Fill in your details once. You get a contact file that saves you straight into someone's phone, a QR code that does the same in one scan, and a card image to post or print.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.

Turn your card into a page

A Liite page holds everything on your card and more: your links, your work and a contact card visitors can save in one tap. Every page has its own QR code, so one scan opens it all.

How to use it

  1. Type your name, then any of your job title, company, phone, email, website and address.
  2. Pick a card colour and add a photo if you like.
  3. Download the contact card (.vcf), the QR code or the card image.

What's in a digital business card

The part that matters is the contact file, a .vcf file in the vCard format. Every phone and email app understands it: open it on an iPhone or Android phone and it offers to save a new contact with your name, number, email, website and address already filled in, so nobody has to type your email address from a photo of a paper card.

The QR code holds the same details. Point a phone camera at it and it shows an "Add contact" prompt. Put it on a printed card, a name badge, a conference slide or your shop counter.

Photos and the QR code

Your photo is shrunk and saved inside the .vcf file, so it appears on your contact in the other person's phone. It's left out of the QR code on purpose: a photo would make the code so dense that most cameras couldn't read it.

If you print the QR code, keep it at least 2 cm wide and leave a quiet white border around it. Dark on light scans best.

Sharing it

Send the .vcf file by email or chat, attach it to your email signature, or put it on your website for people to download. The card image works as a quick preview on social media or in a message, with the contact file alongside it.

Details change: a new job, a new number. Printed QR codes can't change with them, which is why many people point their QR code at a page instead and keep that page up to date.

Private by design

Everything here happens in your browser, including the photo. We never see or store what you type, and there's nothing to sign up for.

Questions

Is this digital business card free?

Yes. Make as many cards as you like, with no sign-up and no watermark.

What is a .vcf file?

It's a vCard: the standard file for contact details. Phones, Gmail, Outlook and Apple Contacts can all open it and save it as a contact.

Why isn't my photo in the QR code?

A photo adds thousands of characters, which makes a QR code too dense to scan. The photo is in the downloadable .vcf file instead.

Can I update my card later?

The file and QR code hold your details as they are now, so you'd make new ones. A Liite page can be updated any time, and its QR code keeps working because it points at the page.

Does the QR code work on iPhone and Android?

Yes. The built-in camera app on both reads contact QR codes and offers to add the contact.
