A contact card you can update
A Liite page can hold a save-contact card next to your links, and its QR code never changes. Edit your number or job title on the page and the printed code still works.

Make the code on your iPhone
Open this page in Safari, fill in your name and the details you want people to have, and watch the code update as you type. The example shows a plumber's details: a mobile, an email and a website, which keeps the code small enough to scan from a van door or a fridge magnet.
Download the PNG and save it to Photos, or download the SVG if a printer is making cards for you. The SVG stays sharp at any size.
How someone saves you from it
On another iPhone, the person opens Camera, points it at the code and taps the prompt that appears. They don't need an app or a signal, because your details are written into the code itself.
Apple's Contacts guide covers sharing your card by Share Contact and NameDrop. Those are quicker when you're both holding iPhones. The QR code is for everything else: print, a screen at a stand, a sticker, or someone using Android.
Keep it scannable
Each extra field makes the code denser, and the tool tells you when it's getting hard to read. A name, one phone number and an email is plenty for most people. Add the note only if it helps someone remember where you met.

Open this page in Safari, type the contact's details and download the PNG. It works for your own details or anyone else's you want to share.
Can you scan a QR code to add a contact?
Yes. If the code holds a vCard, the iPhone Camera shows a prompt; tap it to see the contact card and save it.
Can I make the code without installing an app?
Yes. Everything runs in Safari, and the details you type never leave your phone.
