Type a name to see if liite.co/yourname is free. If it's taken, you get a few free alternatives, and one button takes you to sign-up with the name filled in.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.

Claim it before someone else does

Claim your name

How to use it

  1. Type the name you want, for example rosasbakery.
  2. Read the result. If the name is taken or breaks a rule, pick one of the suggestions.
  3. Press Claim it to sign up with that name filled in.

The username rules

A Liite username is 3 to 30 characters long and uses lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens. It can't start or end with a hyphen, and can't have two hyphens in a row. Some names are reserved because Liite uses them for its own pages, such as app and tools. The checker tells you which rule a name breaks, so you can fix it.

Your name works in two places. Your page lives at liite.co/yourname, and if you upload a site, the same name is its address at yourname.liite.site. One name covers both, so nobody else can take the other half.

Picking a good handle

Match your other handles if you can. If you are @rosasbakery on Instagram and TikTok, liite.co/rosasbakery is what people will guess, and it looks right in your bio.

Keep it short and easy to say aloud. You will read it out on calls, print it on cards and type it on your phone. Avoid hyphens unless they help reading, and avoid numbers that look like years or ages, since they date quickly and are hard to say.

Think about where you are going, not just where you are. A name tied to one product or one city can feel narrow later. Your own name or your business name usually lasts longest.

If your name is taken

The checker suggests a few free names close to the one you typed. Pick one that still reads well in a bio. If you already use a variant on another network, use the same one here so people only have to remember one.

How the check works

The checker asks Liite whether the name is free, the same check sign-up uses. Nothing you type is stored, and the name is not held for you until you sign up, so claim it once you have chosen.

Questions

Is a Liite page free?

Yes. The page at liite.co/yourname, with links, buttons, social icons and view and click counts, is free.

Does checking a name reserve it?

No. The name stays free for anyone until someone signs up with it. Press Claim it when you've decided.

Can I use capital letters or underscores?

No. Usernames use lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens only.

Why is my name reserved?

Some names are kept for Liite's own pages, such as app and tools, so they can't be used for a page.

Can I use the same name for an uploaded site?

Yes. Your username also works as yourname.liite.site for a site you upload, so one name covers both.
