Give your bio a proper home
Instagram gives you one link. A Liite page at liite.co/yourname holds the rest: your links, social icons, a WhatsApp button and a real heading in a theme you pick, with no symbols needed.
How to use it
- Type the text you want to style, for example your name.
- Scroll the styles and find one you like.
- Press its copy button, then paste it into your bio, name field or caption.
How Instagram fonts work
Instagram doesn't let you change the font of your bio. These styles get around that by swapping each letter for a different character that happens to look like a styled letter. The bold A, for example, is a character called Mathematical Bold Capital A, made for writing maths. Because they are ordinary characters, you can paste them anywhere that accepts text.
A few letters are missing from those alphabets, such as the italic h and several script capitals, because Unicode had already encoded them elsewhere. This tool fills those gaps with the right characters, so your words don't end up with empty boxes in the middle.
Use them sparingly
Styled characters have real downsides. Screen readers either spell them out letter by letter as maths symbols or skip them, so people who use one may not be able to read your name. Instagram search treats them as different letters, so someone typing your name won't find a styled version of it. Some older phones and apps show them as boxes.
So style a word or two, like your name or a short heading, and keep the rest of your bio in plain text. Never style your username or the information people need, such as a phone number or an address.
Where they work
The styles paste into Instagram bios, names, captions and comments, and into TikTok, X, Threads, Facebook, YouTube and most messaging apps. Combining styles like strikethrough and underline add a mark after every letter, which some apps draw differently, so check how it looks before you post.

Questions
Are these real fonts?
No. They're Unicode characters that look like styled letters. That's why they paste anywhere, and also why screen readers and search don't treat them as normal text.
Why do some letters show as boxes?
The phone or app doesn't have those characters in its fonts. It happens most on older Android phones. Pick a different style, or keep that text plain.
Will styled text hurt my reach?
It doesn't change how Instagram ranks posts, but styled words can't be found in search, and hashtags made of styled letters don't work as hashtags.
Is it accessible?
Not very. Screen readers read many of these characters as maths symbols or skip them. Use them for decoration on a word or two, and keep anything important in plain text.
Do I need an account?
No. It's free, needs no sign-up, and runs in your browser.
