Branded QR code generator
Pick your brand colour, upload your logo, and the code switches to the highest error correction so it still scans with the middle covered. Download a PNG or an SVG for your designer.
Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.
At a glance
- Logo size
- The tool keeps the logo to 22% of the code's width, so level H can recover the covered modules.
- checked 2026-11
- Contrast of #1e3a8a on white
- 10.4:1, worked out by this tool with the WCAG 2 formula. The tool warns below about 4:1.

- Quiet zone
- A QR code needs a clear margin four modules wide on every side. Our download has a two-module border, so leave extra white space around it in your layout.

A QR code you can keep changing
The code above always opens the same thing. Every Liite page comes with its own QR code that counts scans, and you can change the page behind it any time without reprinting.
Branded QR code generator: what to know
This page starts the QR code generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the QR code generator.
Design rules that keep it scanning
Keep the code dark on a light background. Leave the three corner squares alone; scanners use them to find the code. Keep the margin clear, don't stretch the code, and test it on an older phone as well as a new one.
Logo and colour
A simple, square logo works best. The tool puts it on a small plate in your background colour. For brand colours, use the darkest one in your palette for the code, and the lighter ones around it in your design.
Into InDesign or Illustrator
Download the SVG and place it in your layout. It stays sharp at any size and you can recolour it there if needed; check the contrast again after any change.
Questions
Can a QR code have a logo in the middle?
Yes. The code's error correction rebuilds the covered part. Use level H and keep the logo small.
How do I brand a QR code?
Use your darkest brand colour, add your logo and put a short call to action next to the code, like "Scan for the menu".
What is the downside of QR codes?
People can't see where a code goes before scanning, and a printed code can't be changed. Say what it opens, and point it at a page you control.
