Photography portfolio website

A photography portfolio needs big images, a short list of what you shoot, and a quick way for clients to ask if you're free on their date. The Photographer template has all three; swap in your own galleries and packages.

What clients look for

People hiring a photographer scan for style first, then price, then dates. If they can't see those three quickly, they move on to the next name in the search results.

So put your strongest set at the top, say what kinds of shoots you do, and give them one button to ask about a date.

Pick fewer, better photos

Show one gallery per type of work, such as weddings, portraits or products. Ten to twenty images per gallery is enough. Leave out near-duplicates and anything you wouldn't want to be hired to shoot again.

Liite shrinks images in your browser before upload and removes location data, which matters if you shoot at clients' homes.

Private galleries for clients

If you want to share a finished set with one client, make it a separate page and add a password on Pro. Or upload a PDF lookbook and share its viewer link.

For full-resolution delivery, keep using the file delivery service you already have and link to it.

Set up your photography portfolio

Start from the Photographer template shown on this page.

  • Add a Gallery block for each type of work, or link to galleries you host elsewhere.
  • Turn "Packages" into a short list of what's included, or link to a PDF price guide.
  • Point "Check my availability" at a contact form that asks for the date and location.
  • Publish and use the page's QR code on your business cards.

Questions

Can I use Liite for client photo delivery?
It isn't built for delivering full-resolution files: media storage is limited and images are resized on upload. Use a delivery service for that and link to it from your page.
How many photos can I show for free?
The Free plan has 20 MB of media storage and up to 15 blocks on your page. Images are compressed before upload, so that's usually a few dozen web-sized photos. Pro has 500 MB.
Can I take bookings?
There's no booking calendar. Use a contact form that asks for the date, or link to the booking tool you already use.
