11 script letters (B, E, F, H, I, L, M, R, e, g, o) come from the Letterlike Symbols block (U+2100–U+214F), because they existed before the maths alphabets. Their slots in the maths block are empty.

Give your bio a proper home

Instagram gives you one link. A Liite page at liite.co/yourname holds the rest: your links, social icons, a WhatsApp button and a real heading in a theme you pick, with no symbols needed.

Cursive text generator: what to know

This page starts the instagram fonts generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the instagram fonts generator.

Script or bold script?

Script is thin and loopy. Because 11 of its letters come from an older block, a phone may draw them in a slightly different design from the rest, so a word can look uneven. Check it on your own screen.

Bold script comes from one block, so it looks more even, and its thicker strokes stay readable at the small size of a bio or comment.

Cursive on Instagram

Cursive suits a name or a one-word heading in your bio. Long cursive lines are hard to read on a phone.

Put it in your display name if you like, but keep the main words people search for in plain letters somewhere too. Search won't match a cursive word to the plain one.

Questions

How can I turn my text into cursive?

Type it in the box and copy the Script or Bold script version. It pastes as cursive anywhere that accepts text.

Can this convert cursive handwriting into text?

No. That needs handwriting recognition from a photo. This page goes the other way: it turns typed text into script-style characters.

Why are the letters joined up but not connected?

Each letter is a separate character, so they can't join the way real handwriting does. Script only looks like cursive.
