PayNow QR code generator

Enter your mobile number or UEN, and an amount and reference if you want them. You get a PayNow SGQR code that any Singapore bank app can scan, made in your browser.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.

Put your pay link where people already look

Add the QR code to a free Liite page at liite.co/yourname, next to your menu, prices and contact links, and print one page QR that never has to change.

How to use it

  1. Type your UPI ID, for example yourname@okaxis, and the name people should see.
  2. Add an amount in rupees and a short note, or leave them empty so the payer types the amount.
  3. Download the QR code as PNG or SVG, or copy the pay link.
  4. Make a small test payment from another phone before you print it.

What is inside a UPI QR code

A UPI QR code holds a short link that starts with upi://pay. It carries your UPI ID (pa), the payee name (pn), and optionally the amount (am), the currency (cu=INR) and a note (tn). When someone scans it with Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM or their bank's UPI app, the app reads those fields and opens a payment screen with your details already filled in. The payer checks the name, enters their PIN and the money goes straight to your bank account.

The code is static: it is made once, in your browser, and never changes. There is no middleman, no fee from us and no account to set up. We never see the payment or your details.

Fixed amount or open amount

Leave the amount empty for a code you can print once and use for every sale, such as a sticker by the till. Set an amount for a single bill, a class fee or a fixed-price item, so the payer cannot type the wrong number. The note shows up in the payment history on both sides, so use it for an order number or the name of what was bought.

Before you print, scan the code from another phone and send yourself a small amount. Check that the right name appears on the payment screen and that the money arrives in the account you expect. A typo in a UPI ID is easy to miss and costly once the code is on every table.

PayNow QR codes for Singapore

Switch to PayNow mode to make an SGQR code. Use your mobile number with +65, or a company's UEN. You can set an amount in Singapore dollars, choose whether the payer may change it, add a reference and set an expiry date. The tool builds the standard EMVCo payload with its checksum, so any Singapore bank app that pays by PayNow can read it.

Malaysia's DuitNow codes are not supported, because they are issued by banks rather than made from a number.

Printing and sharing

Download the SVG for print: it stays sharp at any size. Print it at least 3 cm wide and keep a white border around it. Put your name or shop name next to the code so people can confirm it before they pay. On WhatsApp or in an invoice, send the pay link as well as the image, since people paying on the same phone cannot scan their own screen.

Questions

Is this UPI QR code generator free?

Yes. It runs in your browser, there is no account, and the codes have no fees or expiry from us.

Which apps can scan the code?

Any UPI app, including Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM and the UPI apps from banks. For PayNow codes, any Singapore bank app that supports PayNow.

Does the money go through Liite?

No. The code only holds your UPI ID or PayNow number. Payments go straight from the payer's bank to yours, and we never see them.

Can I change the amount after printing?

No. The code is static, so a new amount means a new code. Leave the amount empty if you want one code for every payment.

Can I make a DuitNow QR code here?

No. DuitNow codes in Malaysia are issued by banks, so ask your bank for one. This tool makes UPI codes for India and PayNow codes for Singapore.
