UPI QR code generator with amount: what to know
This page starts the UPI QR code generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the UPI QR code generator.
When a fixed amount makes sense
Set an amount when every payer owes the same: a class fee, an event ticket, a set menu or one invoice. Nobody has to ask what to pay, and you can match payments at a glance.
Each code holds one amount. If you sell at several prices, make one code per price and label each, or leave the amount empty so the payer types it.
Use the note to match payments
Add a short note such as an invoice number or a class name. It travels with the payment and shows in your history, so you can tell two ₹500 payments apart. Before you print or send the code, pay yourself the amount from another phone and check that the name and amount look right.
Questions
How do I generate a UPI QR code with an amount?
Type your UPI ID and name, put the price in the amount field, and download the QR code as PNG or SVG. The amount is saved inside the code.
Should I still check the amount that arrives?
Yes. The code fills the amount in on the payer's screen, but check each payment against your price when it arrives, and pay yourself once from another phone before you print the code.
Can one code take different amounts?
Not with a fixed amount. Make a new code for each price, or leave the amount empty for a code that works for any sum.
