Where to paste the code
Most website builders have a block for your own HTML. WordPress calls it Custom HTML; others call it an HTML, code or embed block. Add one where the button should appear, paste the code and publish. The code is a single link with its style written inline, so it doesn't need a script or a stylesheet.
The button keeps its WhatsApp green and rounded shape on any page. To float it in a corner instead, add position:fixed;right:16px;bottom:16px to the style in the code.
This button or WhatsApp's artwork?
WhatsApp publishes official button images and asks that you use them as they are. If you'd rather use those, download the artwork from WhatsApp's brand resources and wrap the image in the link from this page. The button made here is a plain styled link with your own text,, so there is no image file to host.

What are WhatsApp buttons?
A WhatsApp button is a link on a website or app that opens a chat with a business or person. Behind it is a wa.me click-to-chat link, often with a message already typed.
Does the button work on a computer?
Yes. On a computer the link opens WhatsApp Web or the desktop app; on a phone it opens the WhatsApp app.
Can I change the button text?
Yes. Type your own text in the Button text field, for example "Book on WhatsApp". WhatsApp's own branded button always says Chat on WhatsApp.
