What Launch is

Liite Launch is a weekly board of new products. Anyone with a Liite account can submit one, whether it's a Liite site or anything else on the web. We review every launch, each week's launches go live together, and people on Liite upvote the ones they like.

Submit a product

Open + New → Launch (or Launches in the sidebar). Start with the product's name and address, then add a tagline, a logo, 1 to 5 images, a description (plain text, no links) and up to 3 categories. Your email address has to be confirmed before you submit.

To launch one of your Liite sites, open its settings and choose Launch this site. Its name, tagline, logo and share image are filled in, and the launch carries a Built on Liite label.

You can have 1 launch waiting at a time on Free, 3 on Pro and 10 on Business. The same product can launch again 180 days after its launch week.

Review and your launch week

We review every launch by hand, usually within two days. An approved launch gets the next week with a free place (each week has 20). If we can't approve it, you get a note saying why: fix it and submit it again.

Until its week starts, only you can see your launch page. You can still edit the launch, move it to a later week or withdraw it. Once it's live, the name, address and logo stay as they are (the upvotes belong to that product); the description and images can still change.

Launch weeks and awards

A launch week runs from Monday 00:00 to Sunday 23:59 UTC. All of a week's launches go live together on Monday morning, so each one gets the same seven days. When the week ends its ranking is locked: the top three (with at least one upvote) win the week, and every maker gets their results by email.

The board shows this week with a countdown, and last week's best. The monthly and yearly boards rank launches by the upvotes they got in their own launch week, so an older launch can't keep climbing. Product of the Month and Product of the Year are named once their last week ends.

Upvotes

Anyone with a Liite account can upvote a launch, once, and take it back. A vote from an account whose email isn't confirmed yet starts counting as soon as it is. Upvotes after a launch's week still add to its total, but not to its rank. Each account can cast 100 votes a day.

Buying, trading, automating or faking votes breaks the Acceptable Use Policy: we void votes like that and can remove the launch.

Your badge

Every approved launch gets a badge for your website. It links to your launch page and shows your upvotes and any award you win: #1, #2 or #3 of the week, Product of the Month or Product of the Year. Copy the code from your launch in the dashboard.

The link to your product

Your launch page links straight to your product. It's a followed link (one that search engines count) when you picked your week, when the launch is one of your Liite sites, or while a link to your launch page (the badge, or any plain link) is on the product's page. Otherwise it's marked nofollow.

We look for that link when your launch goes live and every week after. You can also check straight away from your launch in the dashboard. After 2 checks in a row without it, the link goes back to nofollow and we email you. Put the badge in your page's HTML: we don't see links added by scripts.

Pick your week

An approved launch goes into the next week with a free place. To choose the week yourself, pick any week in the next 12 that still has room (10 paid places a week) for a one-time $19, on any plan, Free included. It also makes the link to your product a followed one.

Paying buys the timing, never a higher place: paid launches look and rank the same as the rest. A picked week is final; see the Refund Policy.
