Content creator rate card: what to know

This page starts the media kit generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the media kit generator.

How to structure a rate card

Price what a brand actually buys: one feed post, one short video, a set of stories, and a bundle that combines them for a little less. Three to six rows is plenty. A long menu makes brands haggle over every line.

Keep extras separate. Usage rights (a brand running your video as its own ad), exclusivity (not working with competitors for a while) and rush delivery change the value of a deal, so list them with no price and quote them case by case. The kit shows "On request" for any empty price.

Setting your prices

The prices in this sample are made up to show the layout. They're not a guide to what you should charge. Base yours on your own average views, the time each piece takes you, and what you've been paid before. Raise them as your reach and results grow.

Put your reach next to your prices. A rate card that shows average views and engagement makes the price easier to accept, which is why this one keeps a platform row at the top.

Questions

What is a creator rate card?

A short price list for brand work: each deliverable, such as a Reel or a story set, with its price, plus extras like usage rights. It's often part of a media kit.

How do I create a rate card?

Replace the sample rows above with your own deliverables and prices, leave extras empty to show "On request", add your reach, and download the PDF or PNG.

Are the prices here typical?

No. They're made-up sample prices to fill the layout. Set yours from your own numbers and past deals.
