Streamer media kit: what to know
This page starts the media kit generator for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the media kit generator.
What sponsors want from a streamer
For live streams, average viewers matter more than followers. A channel with 8,000 followers and a steady 180 people watching every stream can be a better buy than a bigger channel with an empty chat. Put your average concurrent viewers in the views column for Twitch, and say which period it covers if a sponsor asks.
Add your schedule to the bio ("three nights a week") so a sponsor knows how often their segment will run. The sample numbers here are made up; replace every one with your own from your channel analytics.
Sponsorship packages for streams
Streams sell differently from posts. Common packages are a short sponsored segment, a whole sponsored stream, a chat command or panel that stays up for a month, and a mention in a YouTube highlight video. Keep each one specific about length and what you'll say or show.
Say how you'll label sponsored content. In the UK, the ASA and CAP guide sets out how to make clear that ads are ads; other countries have their own rules.
Questions
What should a streamer put in a media kit?
Your channels with followers and average viewers, your schedule, your audience's top countries and ages, sponsorship packages with prices, and how to contact you.
Should I use followers or average viewers?
Both, but sponsors look at average viewers first. They show how many people are actually watching when a segment runs.
Are the numbers in this kit real?
No. They're sample numbers to show the layout. Replace them with your own before you send the kit.
