Questions
Is this invoice template free?
Yes. There's no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many invoices you make. It runs in your browser and nothing you type is sent to us.
Can I get it as a Word or Google Docs file?
No. This template gives you a PDF, which any client can open and print. To change an invoice later, edit it here and download a new PDF.
Is there an Excel, Numbers or LibreOffice version?
No, there's no spreadsheet file. You don't need one for the sums: each line is quantity times price, and the subtotal, tax and total are worked out as you type, the way a spreadsheet would. What you send is a PDF.
Can I add my logo?
Yes. Choose a logo image and it appears at the top of the PDF. The logo isn't saved with your draft, so add it again next time.
What should an invoice include?
A unique invoice number, the issue and due dates, your name and address, your client's, a description of each item with its quantity and price, any tax, the total, and how to pay you. Rules differ by country, so check what's required where you work.
Can I add GST or VAT?
Yes. Choose GST, VAT or sales tax as the tax name, set a rate on each line and add your tax number. Lines can have different rates, and the invoice lists the tax for each rate.
