Questions
How do I show a deposit on a photography invoice?
Put the full price of the work on the lines, then take the deposit off as a fixed discount and say in the notes when it was paid. The total then shows what's left to pay.
Should I price images individually or as a package?
Either works. Per-image pricing makes it easy to sell extra images later; a package is simpler to read. Use one line for the package if that's what you quoted.
Can I add usage or licence terms?
Yes. Put a short line in the notes, for example personal use only, and keep the full terms in your contract.
