Public or private?

Make the group public if you want anyone to find it and read along before joining. Give it a username in the group's settings; its t.me link stays the same until you change that username.

Keep it private if you want to control who joins. Then share an invite link from the app instead; you can revoke it, cap its uses or require approval.

How do I join a Telegram group with a link?

Can I make a private invite link here?

No. Invite links for private groups are created by Telegram, so make them in the app under Group Info > Add Member > Invite to Group via Link. You can then paste one into our QR code generator to print it.
