Telegram link generator
Choose a username link, a phone number link or a share link. You get a t.me link that opens Telegram, an HTML button for your website, and a QR code to print.
Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser. Nothing you type or upload is sent to us or stored.
Put Telegram next to your other links
Add your t.me link to a Liite page as a Telegram icon or button, beside WhatsApp, email and the rest, and see how many people tapped it.
How to use it
- Pick the kind of link: username, phone number or share.
- Enter your username or number, or the address and text to share.
- Add a message to pre-fill if you want one.
- Copy the link or the button, or download the QR code.
Three kinds of Telegram link
A username link has the form t.me/ followed by your username. It opens a chat with you, a channel or a group. You can add a message that appears ready in the chat box, and the person still presses send.
A phone number link has the form t.me/+ followed by the number in international format. It only opens a chat if that person's privacy settings let others find them by phone number. If yours don't, use a username link instead.
A share link opens Telegram with a link and some text ready, and lets the sender choose who to send it to. It's handy for passing on an event, an article or a page.
Username rules
Telegram usernames are 5 to 32 characters long, use letters, digits and underscores, and start with a letter. The tool checks yours as you type, so a typo doesn't turn into a link that goes nowhere. You can set or change your username in Telegram's settings.
Where to use your link
Put it in your social bios, your website's contact page, an email signature or the description of your channel elsewhere. Print the QR code on a flyer, a poster or a table card so people can open a chat with one scan.
If you run a channel or group, a username link to it is an easy way to invite people without sharing your phone number.
Use the HTML button on your own website: paste the snippet where you want it and visitors can open a chat from any page. Download the QR code and scan it with your own phone before printing a batch.
A pre-filled message helps you sort chats. Use a different one for each place, for example "Hi, I saw your poster" on a flyer and "Hi, I found you on Instagram" in your bio, and you'll know which one brings people in.
Made in your browser
The link, the button and the QR code are made on your device. We don't see or store the username, number or message you type.
Questions
Is the Telegram link free?
Yes. t.me links are a free Telegram feature and this generator is free with no sign-up. The links don't expire.
Why doesn't my phone number link open a chat?
The person's privacy settings probably don't let others find them by number. Use a username link instead; it works regardless of that setting.
Does the link work for channels and groups?
Yes. A public channel or group with a username has a t.me link just like a person does.
Why does the tool say my username isn't valid?
Telegram usernames must be 5 to 32 characters, use only letters, digits and underscores, and start with a letter. Check for spaces, dots or a leading @.
Can I change the pre-filled message later?
The message is part of the link, so a new message means a new link. Put the link on a Liite page and you can change it there without reprinting a QR code.
