What makes a good Gmail signature
A good signature tells people who you are and how to reach you, and nothing more: name, role, one phone number or email, and one link. One brand colour does more than lots of icons, quotes and banners, and it keeps the signature short in replies.
Stacked suits a phone, because nothing sits side by side. Photo beside looks best with a square photo or logo. Compact fits everything on one line, which works well for replies in a long thread.
Social media icons
This tool doesn't add social media icons. Each icon is another image that some mail apps block until the reader allows images. Put one link in your signature instead, to a page that lists all your profiles, so the signature stays short and every link still works.

How do I design my Gmail signature?
Pick a layout and an accent colour above, fill in your details and press Copy signature. In Gmail, click Settings, then See all settings, paste into the Signature box and click Save Changes.
Can I add social media icons to my Gmail signature?
Gmail lets you add images, so icons are possible, but this tool doesn't make them. A single link to a page with all your profiles keeps the signature shorter and works even when images are blocked.
Why does my Gmail signature look wrong after pasting?
Google suggests selecting the signature and clicking Remove formatting, then formatting it again, and using an image in the recommended size. With this tool, paste using Copy signature rather than copying the preview by hand.
