OG tags checker
OG tags are the Open Graph meta tags in a page's head that tell apps what title, description and image to show when the link is shared. Paste an address to list every OG tag on the page first.
Free, no sign-up. We fetch the page for you and keep nothing about it. Nothing you type is stored.

Pages that share well, without the tags
Every Liite page gets a share image made from its title and theme, and you can set your own title, description and image for when the link is posted. Your page lives at liite.co/yourname.
OG tags checker: what to know
This page starts the link preview checker for this case. For every option and how to use it, see the link preview checker.
What each OG tag does
og:title is the headline of the preview. og:description is the line or two under it. og:image is the picture, and og:url is the address apps treat as the page's real one, so shares of different versions of the address count together. og:type says what the page is; "website" suits most pages. og:site_name names the site, and og:image:alt describes the picture for screen readers.
Each one is a meta tag with a property and a content attribute, placed in the page's head, for example <meta property="og:title" content="Rosa's Bakery">.

What are OG tags?
Meta tags from the Open Graph protocol that describe a page for link previews. Facebook, LinkedIn, Slack, X and Apple's Messages all read them.

What is an OG title?
The og:title tag: the headline apps show in a link preview. Keep it short and specific, and leave the site name for og:site_name.
What size should an OG image be?
1200×630 pixels works across Facebook, LinkedIn, X and Messages. Our Open Graph image generator makes one at that size.
