Give your page its own icon
An uploaded site at yourname.liite.site can use these files as they are: drop them in your site's folder next to index.html. Liite pages come with a share image and a QR code of their own.

Site icon or favicon?
They're the same thing. WordPress and some other site builders call it a site icon; browsers and developers call it a favicon. Either way it's the small square shown in browser tabs, bookmarks, Google results and on a phone's home screen.
Because each place asks for a different size, the zip holds all of them: favicon.ico for tabs, a 180 px icon for iPhones and iPads, and 192 and 512 px icons for Android. If your site builder only takes one upload, give it the 512 px file and let it scale down.
Using it on WordPress
Download the zip and unpack it. In WordPress 6.5 or later, go to Settings, then General, click Choose a Site icon and pick android-chrome-512x512.png. WordPress makes the smaller sizes and adds the tags for you, so you don't need the other files or the HTML snippet.
