Liite Lab

Liite Lab turns a subject into an interactive explainer: a 3D object you can rotate, take apart and tap for explanations, or an invented machine that shows how an idea works, with steps and a quiz. Anyone can browse the gallery, like and remix; building with AI is on Pro and Business.

Make one

Open Lab in the dashboard, type a subject ("Arduino Uno", "the human heart", "how a bloom filter works") or add a photo of an object, and press Build it. Pick a mode or let AI choose:

• 3D object: a model you rotate, take apart and tap.
• Idea as a machine: an isometric machine that explains a concept step by step.
• Photo: a picture of a real thing, built as a 3D object.

The outline (parts, steps, quiz) shows within seconds; a detailed scene takes a few minutes. Your browser checks the draft as it arrives, and up to two automatic fixes repair a problem it finds. A build that fails doesn't count.

Edit it

The studio shows the explainer as visitors will see it, with:

• Style: switch the look (illustrated, studio, blueprint, sketch, x-ray and more) without using AI.
• Words: fix any title, explanation, step or quiz question yourself.
• Edit with AI: ask for a change ("add a step about cooling"). Each one uses an edit from your allowance.
• Code and Versions: see the scene's code, and go back to any earlier version.

AI can be wrong. Check facts and numbers before you publish.

Publish and share

Publish puts it at liite.co/lab/your-title. Choose who can see it:

• Public: anyone with the link, and listed in the gallery once an automatic check has read it.
• Unlisted: anyone with the link, not in the gallery.
• Private: only you (Pro and up).

A new page is kept out of search engines for its first day. From the page, copy the link, show a QR code, copy the embed code for any website, or record a video clip of a tour through the steps. To show it on your Liite page, add a Lab experience block.

Remix

Remix on any public explainer copies it into your drafts with a credit to the original, to restyle, edit and publish as your own. Remixing isn't AI, so it works on Free too.

Allowances

• Built by AI each month: 5 explainers on Pro and 15 on Business, with 40 and 120 edits with AI. Free has no AI.
• Explainers kept (yours and remixes): 3 on Free, 100 on Pro, unlimited on Business.
• Private explainers: Pro and up.
• Video clips: up to 10 seconds on Free (with a small liite.co/lab mark), 20 on Pro and 30 on Business.

Allowances reset each month and don't carry over. Need more this month? A pack of 3 extra builds costs $5 under Billing; they never expire and are used after your monthly allowance.

Use your own key

On Pro and Business, add an AI key in Account settings → AI (see AI), then tick Use my own API key when you build. Everything runs in your browser on your key, so it doesn't use your allowance and isn't capped (just rate-limited). Photo mode needs an Anthropic key.

Safety

Every scene runs in a locked-down frame on a separate domain with no network access, after checks on its code. Published explainers are read by an automatic moderation pass before they're listed, and anyone can report one from its page.
